Receipt of Goods
The Products Receipt Department has extensive opening hours for this task. It receives orders, enters them in the computer and informs clients of the product´s status (quantity received, and product arrival conditions).

The Company has an IT system that allows it to be fully integrated with each of its clients.
Preparation and management of orders
The company combines several technologies for preparing orders: radio frequency for internal movements and picking for complete boxes as well as a complete modern system of horizontal carousels for picking single units.
All this is managed through a WMS (Warehouse Management System) that manages the preparation of orders and stocks in compliance with the FIFO system with high levels of efficiency, reliability and accuracy, ensuring the traceability of orders, products and corresponding batches, as well as the proper management of expiry dates.
Transport dispatch and management
Farmasierra Distribución is integrated computationally with the transport firms with which it works, enabling comprehensive monitoring of shipments, as well as the confirmation of 100% of the deliveries thereof.
Reverse logistics
The company has a department responsible for managing returns, client information and providing appropriate treatment based on the procedures established by its clients (destruction, returns, etc.).
Complementary services
In addition to providing its distribution service for medicinal products, food supplement, cosmetics and health products, Farmasierra Distribución has a secondary packaging service and logistics service to distribute promotional material. These services are carried out for both Grupo Farmasierra companies as well as clients in the pharmaceutical sector, at both the national and international levels.
The system used to receive orders for promotional material for onward shipment is the same one used for products, i.e., storage, controls, receiving orders and shipments.
